Anastasia Boylan is a student at the Oregon community college where a mass shooting occurred on Thursday, managing to survive the incident by pretending to be dead.

Reports have steadily been coming in about how the shooter — Chris Harper Mercer — asked individuals he targeted what religion they were, murdering those who claimed to be Christians.

Boylan was able to speak with her parents before undergoing surgery for her injuries, giving her account of what went down during the shooting, and it’s pretty terrifying.

The harrowing story of how one 18-year-old student survived the Oregon college shooting by playing dead has been revealed.

Anastasia Boylan was in a classroom on her fourth day studying at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg when Chris Harper-Mercer entered and shot her professor dead point-blank.

She told her family that he told his victims to stand up and declare their religion, before telling them: ‘Good, because you’re a Christian, you’re going to see God in just about one second.’

He then shot his victims, including Anastasia, who told her father she survived by playing dead. She underwent surgery on Thursday after doctors found a bullet lodged in her spine, but was strong enough to speak with her family before the operation.

While the mainstream media continues to make this all about guns and the need for gun control, the majority of networks will barely discuss the fact this dude was targeting Christians.

Sure, they’ll mention it in passing, but there will be very little in-depth analysis over this aspect of the shooting, because well, most left-leaning news outlets hate Christians with a passion, and sticking up for them doesn’t really help push the progressive agenda, so eh, no need to look into it.

Christians are most definitely coming under heavier persecution in this country than ever before, and this is proof of it.

Just imagine the absolute outrage if this guy would’ve been targeting Muslims? Suddenly this would become some sort of civil rights issue with lefties chomping at the bit to get their yappy social justice warrior voices heard all across the Internet.

This nation has truly fallen away from its founding principles.
