Peta-Gaye was born with Ministry and Travel in her blood.  As the daughter of an Army Chaplain and a Jamaican Missionary Mother, much of Peta-Gaye’s childhood was spent overseas witnessing great moves of God in various places all over the world; Peta-Gaye’s ministry history is extensive with tours to over twenty countries so far.  She received Christ at the age of fourteen while living at Bad Krueznach, Germany where she immediately began her International Music/Drama Ministry.  Peta-Gaye was trained at Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, MD for piano and voice, Television Communication / Drama at Oral Roberts University, and the University of Manchester, England, for additional studies in Music and Dance.

Peta-Gaye is now CEO of The SURGE. Her hope is to see The SURGE reach every nation with The Gospel by creative and influential means that will make eternal changes in lives that are broken, lost and/or desperate for HIS PRESENCE.  Her heartbeat is to see those far from God discover His Love and His specific plan for their lives.

Victoria Edwards, a recent graduate of law school, gave her life to Christ at the age of three and began her public ministry at the age of ten. Traveling with The REACH Drama Team, she served through musical sign language, acting, and dance to spread the Gospel. She studied Spanish at La Universidad de Barcelona in Spain and upon graduating with her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Bethany University, Victoria ministered with her Mother nationally and internationally.

After completing a Worship Internship with Elevation Church in CLT, NC, Victoria graduated as Valedictorian of the Southern California Institute of Law while continuing in her position as The SURGE Singer, Songwriter and Blogger. She says this about her vision and calling with The SURGE, “I am simply a vessel for the Holy Spirit to use so that people of every nation will know how much He loves them.”

Susan’s childhood was spent in Saratoga, CA and she accepted Jesus as her Savior in her early twenties.  Through the years she managed clothing stores in Carmel, CA where she sharpened her leadership, organizational, and administrative skills.  Susan ministered with a traveling Drama Team called REACH through acting, signing, dancing and sharing her gift of hospitality everywhere she went.

As one of the Founders for The SURGE, Susan’s heart for the Nations is to see God’s restorative power  working in people’s lives so that they can come to the realization of just HOW MUCH GOD LOVES THEM!

Laura grew up as a Pastor’s daughter and became a believer at a young age.  She attended Taylor University in Upland, IN and graduated with a BA in Art Education K-12.

Teaching Art in both public and private schools, she was the Art Director for numerous theater productions.  Laura has found great joy in teaching in a private school for International Refugees and in teaching the children of a missionary family in Central India for 6 months.

Laura serves The SURGE as The Project Manager, Graphic Design Coordinator, and Head of Technical Support. Her hope is to see the local and Global Church work in UNITY to reach the world with the Gospel! She says this about her vision and calling with The SURGE, “I serve the servants of God… so they can serve the world.”
